The Pan-African Fund Managers’ Alliance is a membership association established to strengthen Africa’s investment ecosystem through collaboration, peer learning, and coordinated action.

PAFMA promotes practical, solutions-driven engagement that reflects Africa’s diverse markets while advancing a unified African voice on capital mobilisation and market development.

Africa has significant domestic capital locked in pensions, insurance assets, and institutional savings, yet much of it remains under-deployed locally.

PAFMA works to shift this imbalance by supporting policies, market structures, and investment vehicles that enable African savings to fund African infrastructure, businesses, and long-term development.

Our Mission

To mobilise domestic capital by strengthening collaboration among fund managers, advancing policy reform, and supporting innovation across Africa’s financial investment markets.

Our Vision

An integrated African investment ecosystem powered by domestic capital and Africa-led investment strategies.

PAFMA is led by a Governing Council elected from amongst current members.

The current Governing Council consists of the following individuals.
