Kenya Govt. revised the ETA rules WEF 1^st July 2025.

Several countries are now exempted from ETA requirements and therefore they don’t need it to travel to Kenya. Others for stay less than 60 days and others for stay less than 90 days.

Those nationalities not listed above require Kenya ETA approval to travel and obtain entry into Kenya.

Visa on arrival is no longer available. The ETA fee is currently USD 34.05 per person paid via Credit Card.

NOTES:

ETA Processing takes minimum 03 days( 72 hrs) – Advisable to apply early in case of some delays.
Requirements and procedure to apply also available and regularly updated on the website.
ETA validity is three months from date of issue. Single entry only.
If circumstances change after getting the ETA approval and travel dates also change to earlier or later after date of travel per application itinerary used, the issued ETA approval can still be used for travel within the stated validity period. Do not request for another ETA in such a situation.

Please have the following documents ready before starting your application.
For all travellers

Valid passport for at least six (6) months after your planned date of arrival into Kenya, with at least one blank page
Selfie or passport-type photo
Contact information, email address( Must be able to receive OTP for verification) and phone number
Details of your arrival and departure itinerary
Accommodation booking confirmation(s)
Previous Kenya Visa/ ETA ( if any)
Credit card, debit card or other means of payment

For travellers arriving for Tourism-

Flight ticket
Hotel accommodation voucher

Processing time is three (3) days but may take longer sometimes
